Richard Vanwynsberghe

Richard graduated magna cum laude from the Université Libre de Bruxelles with a Master’s Degree in Law on 30 June 2016.

He has been practicing law since 1 September 2016 and joined UrbanLaw on 3 April 2023.

Richard specializes in property law, contract law, law of obligations, tort law, co-ownership law, commercial law and judicial law.

He mainly deals with disputes arising during the construction, renovation, sale or lease of a building, whether commercial or not, or disputes arising during the execution of an in rem right (easement, long-term lease, usufruct, etc.) and during the execution of a contract such as a franchise agreement, commercial agency agreement, etc.

He also assists clients with the drafting, review and negotiation of contracts (commercial or residential lease, sales contract, services agreement (also for architectural services), commercial agency agreement, franchise agreement, etc.).

Since 13 September 13 2021, he also holds a certificate of competence to perform the as substitute judge.
